4610 IP phones

employees are using headsets so the button is lit to show they are active...but if they hit the button while on a call it will drop the call. is there a way to disable this button but still allow use of the headset?

The button is just like the switch hook the on handset, exactly the same as the speaker phone. you could add the plantronics box to the hanset and just ignore the headset button, I would prefer to teach the employees how the button functions.

Why are they pressing the button once they are on a call?
