I have a 450 with all patches on it. We have a PRI and the range is 0500 through 0599. calls come in and go out fine. i am providing my own OLI, if nothing is in the field the BTN shows 0509.
-when a users forwards to an outside number (cell phone)the caller gets dial tone.
-when calling ext to ext the forward works correctly.
-when using a trunk from the same bcm450 ( pressing 9 and getting a trunk) the call is forwarded with no trouble.
i called the LEC and asked them to monitor the trunks as i made these calls and he explained that since i was providing the OLI, his switch would not route a call the it didn't recognize the digits being sent as called id. So, the callers id was being passed and the CO didn't notice it as part of the range and dropped the call. He says that if he provides the OLI for all calls, that this issues wouldn't occur. which i agree with considering this is the first i have run into this.
Ideas?
