9.1 GB 1" Ultra SCSI Hard Disk Drive (# 2908)
18.2 GB 1" Ultra SCSI Hard Disk Drive (# 2909)

9.1 GB 10 K RPM Ultra SCSI Hard Disk Drive (# 3027)
18.2 GB 10 K RPM Ultra SCSI Hard Disk Drive (# 3102)

The 18.2 GB 10 K RPM Ultra SCSI disk drive is not supported for installation in
the media bay, but is allowed in the disk bay.

If your in the UK these guys are decent.

Just about any scsi disk will be Ok, I think the 170 has LVD SE - low voltage differential single ended - on board scsi controller, so even an old PC scsi drive will do if it has a SE jumper. It will show as "other scsi disk" on AIX but will work just fine as long as the SE jumper is fitted. No need to pay IBM prices for what is basically a segate disk with an IBM sticker for twice the price.

Ooooh, 68 or 80, 68 I think....
Hang on, you should be answering that question not asking it...
Whip the side off and have a look, or fight your way through the IBM info Centre to find the answer, good luck...
