Hello Again,

My 4450 DSS sets have lost programming on all DLC's. does anyone have any ideas on how to restore them?

Thanks,

Brandon

There is no programming on the 4450's, only a way to renumber them. Are they not going where you want, or are they not working?

The only buttons active on the 4450's are the 3 Page# Buttons and the button directly above Page #1 is an AutoDial 9 button. I don't know if this is related or not, butI am unable to add ext. 108 as a new DLC to the system.

The Numbers the DSS Display are set up in System Renumber, under DSS PAGE BUTTONS.

To give you the BEST answer, we need to know how your extensions are numbered.

Print the Extension Directory and we can figure something out, probably about both issues.

Thanks Again merlinman!

I found the DSS renumber functions in the programming menus and that did the trick. As far as not being able to add x108 as a third DLC, I have figured out that I cannot add 3 DLC's on a single 412TDL card ... so I will have to wait until I add some more extensions to the system. I still have one more question though, kinda unrelated. My users are coming from a Partner system and we had the system set up so users did not have to dial 9 to get an outside line. I have seen several previous posts in this forum regarding setting up T/R modems, faxes, etc. to automatically dial 9 before calling out; however, is there a way to have a users extension automatically get outside dialtone as opposed to Inside tone on 4400 series as well as ETR series sets?

thanks

Brandon

P.S. I don't really know what the big deal is. I mean come on. How much longer does it really take to dial 8 digits instead of 7? But whatever I guess!

Step 1) Assign the Pool to the sets.

Step 2) Under Centralized Programming for the extension, First, touch that Button and Dial *35 (Turn off the ringing)

Step) 3) Still in Cent Prog, Touch the button again, Dial *14, touch it again, then the 3 intercom buttons, one at a time. Then PRESS ENTER.

*14 Sets the IDLE LINE SELECTION
