think this has been asked before but is there anyway of defaulting the IP phones back to the factory settings.
I have 10 phones installed only 4 months ago constantly trying to reboot. I have tried using all diferent configs but they just dont seem to work ????

A factory reset functions has been introduced from application version R4A. The key combination "C * 9" will
restore the settings in the phone and clear the phone book.

If the phone reboots, it might be a good idea to check the network configuration (during the start-up phase).

Hi to all,

I would like to add the following regarding "If the phone reboots, it might be a good idea to check the network configuration (during the start-up phase)." from Etompau.

I tried to upgrade version 2 IP phone from R3C, R3C, R3A to R4C, R4C, R4B (application, config, language)for MX-one TSW but the user reported after that continous restarts of the IP phone.
I saw in site that the power socket was not good and thought that during upgrade process some power failure might had happened.
Tried with C*9 but no success.
The way I solved was by upgrading that IP phone for BP files and than upgrading again for Mx-one files.

This may perhaps help somebody.

Bye

One comment to the restore function; the phone has to be in "Admin-mode" (C * 5) before the C * 9 combination will work.
