I got a chance to use a 4412 on a IPO 403. The sound quality of the 4412 was what I expected - clean clear sound. Nothing unlike the 4621 I used all day yesterday.
Is IP phones truely that much of a difference from a SQ perspective ? I have read threads on the mic/volume/sound/echo quality of the IP phones and I wanted to see this for myself.
I use a Polycom 601 daily with VOIP that travels through the public Internet and it sounds more superior than the 4621.
Could the quality of the physical handset on the phone ne the root of this ?
