We have a group of users with 4406 sets that have DND assinged to them, when a call comes in by way of the auto attendent and dials ext XXX the call goes to voice mail as it should, but when a call comes to the same station by way of a DID call it rings busy and we need that call to go to voice mail also. These sets are to never ring on incoming calls. Any ideas??

It sounds like you do Selector code transfers directly into the Mailbox and they do not follow the "coverage of the phone". You have to make sure the phone is assigned to group coverage (usually group 30) goto to group coverage under extentions in programming and enter 30 and do an inspect to see if working extentions are in there, and add the omitted extentions.

ttech is right on. Your coverage group is not setup. You are probably using a class of service in the voice mail that is set for a supervised transfer. If you never want the phone to ring on incoming calls, change the class of service to one that has no transfer.
