Does anyone know at all if the HP Switch 4148GL supports Adapter teaming ? - or if it has a port on the back for a fibre connection for a Switch - switch connection.

I have had a look on the HP site and various others but cant seem to find any information regarding it that would answer my query.

Per the data sheet (

the 4148 supports various trunking protocols:

1. LACP

2. FEC

3. HP Trunking

There are no network connections on the "back", but there are various types of fiber adaptor modules available, as listed at

http://www.hp.com/rnd/products/switches/switch4100GLseries/overview.htm.

Thankyou kindly, I wasn't familiar with the protocol names and couldn't seem to find any reference. Helps a lot
