412 Event Log Alarm emails 2

Helo, I am trying to set up an older 412 to send Event Log Alarms via email however it is asking for for digits for the SMTP instead of allowing me to enter an address like SMTP.GMAIL.COM. I tried to use the Google 8.8.8.8 address that I found in an older thread but it did not work. Any suggestions for these older units? Thank you
 
Do a ping to SMTP.GMAIL.COM using your PC or laptop.

That will show you the IP address..

 
I was able to get an address when I pinged SMTP.GMAIL.COM I entered the numbers but it still did not work.

I have a Route set to LAN1 as 0.0.0.0, 0.0.0.0, 192.168.1.1
 
You will most likely to need a mail relay. I would doubt a 412 would support the security protocols for gmail.
