I can not seem to program FP2 on a 410 for group paging using the zones because I only have the BIS 10's installed.

The instruations call for programming using the Intercom Auto Dial for each phone. The BIS 10 does not have these buttons?

Any suggestions?

Do I first need to program Intercom Auto Dial buttons on set 10?

You most likely need a 34 button phone for programming. When in programming mode there is a template that goes into effect that includes the auto-intercoms. Buy a cheap BIS34D for programming

Definitley get a 34 button to program, althogh I have used a 20 bis before.

We all need a little help once in awhile. Tony the Phoneman..

i think i have an old 34 in stock. i labled a button PAGE on the BIS 10 and I am trying to program a one touch button for the users to PAGE the sets in each of the Group Lage Zones easier than pressing INTERCOM then dialing each zone i.e. 70, 71 etc.

There are 5 sets total so I assume there are 2 Group Page zones 10,11,12 ( zone 1 ) and 13,14 ( zone 2 ).

I can not seem to get a one touch button to work. Any suggestions for programming.

Are you trying to page through the built-in phone speakers - or are you trying to page to ceiling loudspeakers??

if you do not have Auto Intercom buttons use this dial codes

10 #22
11 #21
12 #20
13 #19
14 #18
at 19 u are using #13
At 29 use #12 down to 20 #03
use these dial code when instructed to to do so

these are from a Merlin Plus may work for FP2

The Group Paging groups are pre-setup already. Paging Group 70 includes extentions 10, 11 and 12. Paging Group 71 includes the next three extentions. If you do not need to make any changes to the "members" of the built-in paging groups - then you can just use them - as they are.

To page 10,11,and 12 - simply press Intercom and dial 70. To page 13,and 14 - press Intercom and dial 71.

Paging thru the BIS-10 speakers only there is no Paging System amp. connected.

ext-10 and 11 need to be in one group and 12,13,14 in another. This is due to the location of the sets.

Then you need a programming phone to change the members of group 70 and group 71. Do you only have BIS-10's? Any 22-button phones?

I may have a larger set in stock. WHat does cvrbob mean by using "Dial Codes" is this what i use when I am programming the button itself?

no it is to identified the station to be program instead of auto intercom buttons & you do not have a 22 0r 34 set

If you have the larger set in stock - please confirm - you can then use the autodial buttons for ext 10,11,12,13,14 to do the reprogramming of the paging groups.

If no set in stock then what is the programming instructions once I enter programming via each sets T/P switch? Thanks!

The programming is done from the 34-button set - not each individual extention.

At the control unit set the Admin/Normal switch to Admin.
At the 34-button console (ext 10) slide the T/P switch to P.
Touch administer (Send Message) (red light comes on).
Dial *70 or whatever preset paging group you want to change Groups *70 thru *79). A green light will come on next to the Autodial button for extentions 10,11,and 12. To remove extentions from *70 - touch their autodial button so the light goes out. To add an extention to the group - touch it's autodial button so it turns on. Maximum total number per group = 3. Touch Administer (Send Message) when finished with that group. - And now dial the next group you want to administer.
When finished, slide the T/P switch back to the center and set the Admin/Normal switch on the control unit back to Normal.

This is a 410 with a FP2 module installed and has no Admin switch.

The Admim/Normal switch is on the 410 control unit - it is the same set of dip switches used for controlling Voice Terminal Ringing. Just flip the dip switches for Ext's 10 thru 14 "down" or towards "NO" for Admin mode - and then back up to "YES" for normal mode - once finished programming.
