408 MLX GS/LS ID Install Question

We have a Legend Release 7.0 and I attempting to get caller ID to show up. I was hoping to just replace the first 408 MLX GS/LS card with a 408 MLX GS/LS ID card, but when I power up, the phones on that card are dead. Do I have to do a system renumber? Thanks

I would expect that you would have to do a 'board' renumber... I do every time I add/change a card. Also, I think you probably have to set the ls/id delay.

A board renumber will be required for the system to recognize the DIFFERENT board thats been installed.

Don't forget to set LS ID Delay, or your users will clobber the caller ID when they answer.
