I think I knew this at one time but now no recall. What exactly is the 408 GLM-U module, besides being a 4-line/8-station card? Is the 408 GS/LS-MLX compatible (assuming caller-id is not required)? Have had no luck with Avaya reference literature.
Thanks.

The GLM-U just means it is an upgradable MLX card (software). There were some pcmcia upgrades availible from the processor at one time.

It also means that the 408 MLX module should be "Caller ID" capable. If you have a caller ID activated line - test it out - it should work.

Thanks all for the comments, very helpful and what I was looking for. I thought I had scanned all the docs but obviously overlooked the Programming Guide. Anyway, this will reduce inventory of required spares.
