408 , 407 errors in Windows 2008 DC > not forward resolving FIX

I had a 2k8 DC controller that would fail to resolve web pages and back up email from the domain after @ 24 hours uptime .

After bit of diagnosis I looked at the A record and discovered there was to security entry .

I added "Everyone" with READ ONLY security attributes to the A record of the DC forward look up and this has cured the fault .

Thought Id share as you can bang your head for days with faults like this .
