We use a 4060.
We have several clients that perform remote support for. To connect to the clients, some use MS VPN, Cisco or Nortel, and/or RDP or pcAnywhere. Most of them work.
We have one client that the MS VPN connects and the RDP session fails to connect. However, outside our firewall (either from home or using a machine outside the firewall assigned a public IP) the RDP connection can be established. In looking through the firewall log, I see no entry for the firewall blocking the RDP session nor do i see any entry for the VPN connection (means to me that the VPN was successful). Also, we can connect using Terminal Services Client without a problem. This issue covers both versions of RDP.
Some specifics:
our network:
W2k3 AD
XP pro or 'better' pc's
Client network:
w2k3 AD
w2k3 server (remote desktop)
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any ideas for troubleshooting?
thanks in advance...
