IS-IT--Management
Setup another 406 v1 on one of our new sites that has 2 isdn2e lines. Apologies but never used BRI with IP Office before as we have always used PRI with these in the past so this will no doubt be a silly query.
The background.
Lines installed to IPO in BRI card ports 1 and 4
Lines according to BT are PTP
in manager I have set lines to TEI of 0 as PTP
presume that 5,6,7 and 8 in manager>lines refers to ports 1,2,3,4 on the back of BRI card.
so line 5 set to 2 channel, 2 data, 2 outgoing, 2 voice etc line group 0
line 6 set to 0 channels, left 2 data, voice etc line group 0 etc alone
Line 7 the same as 6
Line 8 set the same as 5.
I am getting incoming calls ok now (see below)
outgoing some work some (pretty much every other one) just dont dial which makes me think it is trying to use another port. Could one of you helpful chaps point me in the right direction please.
I have reported a fault with BT as earlier in the day an external call into the system was giving this number is not recognised message which wasn't fun.
