404s in the error log 1

Hi,

I have some 404's in my error log:

/nav.txt 132 [URL unfurl="true"]http://www.bilder.raskt.net/vevindeks.loopback[/URL] 
/footer.txt 132 [URL unfurl="true"]http://www.bilder.raskt.net/vevindeks.loopback[/URL] 
/header.txt 131 [URL unfurl="true"]http://www.bilder.raskt.net/vevindeks.loopback[/URL] 
/robots.txt 89 -

I have never made the footer.txt, header.txt or robots.txt.
What should I do about this issue?
Should I create the txt files?

I have no clue why I have so many hits to files which I have never created.

Is there any point in creating theese files, or should I make an custom 404 page with a link back to the main page?

Hi

Those requests for nav.txt, header.txt and footer.txt are made by the quirksmode.js script used on that site. So theoretically those should exist. But while that script seems to be sto... borrowed from the quirksmode.org site, it should be modified to the bilder.raskt.net site's requirements. So if those three files not exist and are neither necessary, the corresponding [tt]sendRequest()[/tt] calls should be removed/commented out from the script.

Regarding the robots.txt file, read robotstxt.org then decide if you need it. However, you can simply create an empty file.

Ah, yes.. I guess it's that input thingy I found on the quirksmode tip-page AFAIK there is no good way to style an input form(?).

However, it's not properly working in IE, so I'm considering removing it all together and just having the "boring" browse button.

However, that's not an PHP issue, so.. thx anyways.
