404 page not found message when i browse to my site.

Hi,

I have installed MOSS 2007 on my Virtual Server Farm (three virtual machnines, Sql 2005 server, AD and MOSS 2007). I have used Kerberos authentication provider. After that I installed one Shared Service Provider and a new Web Application and a Site Collection (a Collaboration portal) under /sites/. Every thing was ok, I did not get any error message.
But when I browse to I get some thing like 404 error page not found. I don't know why.
I appreciate any help and thank you so much.
