404 error without slash at the end

Hey, I asked this same question in another post but I think to get it answered it needs its own post...

I have apache 1.3.26 and to get to

http://www.domain.com/folder

I need to add a slash at the end (ex.

http://www.domain.com/folder/).

If I just go to

http://www.domian.com/folder

I get a 404 error. Is there a setting in httpd.conf that I need to change?
