Hi there,

I have written a small ASP page that runs perfectly on my Windows XP development PC with IIS6.

The problem is when I try to access the page via our web server that is running Windows Server 2008 and IIS7. I get the message:

403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

I can access html pages in the same folder (ie, if I put default.htm in there it works).

We have installed ASP.NET and ASP support and restarted IIS, but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Nick

Sorry, the error should be:
Code:
404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

sounds to me like the default document hasn't been set?

Check the item "Default Document" in the IIS section of IIS Manager and make sure the document is the page you want to appear by not typing in the filename in the browser.
