Situation: 403 Version 1.4 with Voicemail Pro. System running fine for over 7 months, went to set up new user for VOIP connection. I am using an Avaya Remote User VPN software latests version, to connect to the Avaya SG 200 (VSU 500) Router. VPN is established fine, once I launched Phone Manager, the minute I hit Enter I lost any connection to the 403, including any ping request.
Diagnostic so far: Remembering through all of this the 403 is still operating fine for answering calls. As long as it stays within the switch and does not have to go to the voicemail Pro or route out through an I.P. connection you can still function. So I stripped the entire network down to 1 P.C. running the Voicemail Pro and the Feature Key (same P.C.) with one other laptop, new completely to the equation. Plugged the computers into the 403 LAN Ports themselves, no routers, external switches or other devices hooked up. Tried reloading an old config. as far back as September 2003, still same trouble. Tried running it through P133 Cajun Switch, different ports on the Avaya hub same deal. Factory Defaulted the system, let it run for a while seemed stable, went to launch Phone Manager entered Name Password and then hit Enter, BAM there she drops, no communication. Same trouble. I put a Network Sniffer on board through all of this. When things would work traffic seemed normal, when Voicemail failed it was due to the 403 was not allowing any ICMP or UDP Packets to be recieved Pings included. On the occassion it could be be pingged from 1 PC and not the other and vice-versa.
Any ideas on what could be causing this problem and the solution for it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
