hi,

i`m trying to get my server up for a few weeks now, but all i get is a 403.
i believe everything looks ok, but still i get that message.
i`m running slackware 10.1, with apache 1.3.33.

Greetz,

Either apache can't go there by definition (a directive in the directory container) or system permissions. As a general rule, set the directories to 755 and html/php files to 644. Exceptions to this are scripts that need to be executed.
