Hi all,

I have a number of 4000TN's but I have a problem with one in particular. When it runs out of paper it will not continue from where it stopped, it simply deletes the job.

I have checked the options and ensured Auto Continue is set to yes but still no success.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Gavin.

Try removing the network card and performing a cold reset. There is a setting in there, that just isn't doing what it tells you it's doing.

I've had the settings tell me one thing, but the printer doesn't listen, and found that a cold reset will usually correct the problem.

To do a cold reset on the 4000 series printers, turn it off. Press and hold the green Go button while you power on the printer, and continue holding until you see "cold Reset" on the control panel.
