Hello everyone
I´m running nw6sp5 with xfd3.2sp3 and I have a problem.

I just installed sp3 for my zfd3.2 (used to have sp1) because I found several posts saying that sp3 would resolve the 4 GB image limit problem with zfd 3.2, but now, after updating, the problem is still there. Could someone tell me if there is any way of making images larger than 4 GB with zfd3.2sp3 ?

/Dan

I believe the 4 gig limit is a file system issue not a zfd issue.

More specifically it is a file system limit imposed by pre 4.9 clients.

4.9 client ? do you mean the client installed in windows ? what does that have to do with taking an image of a workstation ?

/Dan

I see what you mean, I was thinking of the old problem of editing an image larger than 4 gig. Pre 4.9 the image would become corrupt.

I guess I should have read a little slower.

Does anyone know if this could be a limitation in NSS and if so, which sp or fix do I need to apply to get it fixed ?

are you seeing the problem while making the image? Or is the problem only after you are trying to access the image from the network?

There should not be any limitations in NSS, in fact, your limiting factors are usually caused by Traditional Volumes.
