4.5.1 Manual Uninstall

Does anyone have instuctions on the manual removal of 4.5.x? I have searched mcafee.com and nai.com to no avail. I need this due to the aftermath of a Klez attack that prevents an auto-uninstall. (The instructions for 4.0 will not work either.)

what I do is to insert the media in that pc and choose manual 4.5.1 and choose remove software.

When I attempt that, I get the following:

Internal error 2735: stopavsyncmanager

When I click on OK in this window, I get:

Internal error 2735: startavsyncmanager

Look for the .MSI file in the install directory and execute it. It will automatically call the uninstall routine.

AVChap: the uninstall routine is what isn't working. However, I used the uninstall instructions found on this forum's FAQ page which did the trick.
