4.12 Servers Not Available After GW 6 Client Upgrade

I have Win 98 machines that are running the Novell Client 3.4. They have had no trouble connecting to my 4.12 server (sp9), until I upgraded the Groupwise client (Groupwise 6.0, current service pack) on the users Win98 machines. Can anyone advise what could have changed to lose connection to this server?

I was under the thought that the requirements for GW 6.x was NetWare 5.x, NetWare 6, or Windows 2000.

The issue really isn't with Groupwise, it is more netware client-server related. However, the installation of the Groupwise client (which is running on a Netware 6.0 server) has caused the problem when it was installed on the netware client workstation.
