4.0 Upgrade ~ keycode Problem

Hi there,

i have a problem about an 4.0 upgrade.... i did just run the cds that are included with the BCM 4.0 upgrade... i have 2 systems ... one 3.6 and one fresh ghosted 3.7 system... i did try to make an upgrade on both systems but i always got the same error displayed at upgrade wizard...

"Problem with keycode file. Return value is 8."

Any ideas?

Did you get the 4.0 upgrade key code. And it says you can not upgrade a ghost drive.

and 3.6 and 3.7 have different upgrade CDs ...

Hi there... i simply did get a .lic keycode file after i added an 4.0 upgrade auth code to my system ID on the KRS... i downloaded that keycode and save it on my notebook... during installation i browse and select that keycode and thats it....

I have upgrade kit NTAB3604,N0035897 and its printed BCM3,6, BCM 3,7 to BCM 4.0 Build 2.03a .... So its the same CDs for 3.6 and 3.7 ... but 3.6 must be a special Release... Anyways both upgrade with 2 different keycode print the same error ...

they have 2 different ordering codes for the kit ntab3603 and ntab3686
and the prices are different too ...
ntkc0254 - 3.6 to 4
ntkc0273 - 3.7 to 4
