In 3.2.55, our in house system has a huntgroup for our service calls. The voicemail box for this group was to broadcast messages to the members of the group. Now in 4.0, this huntgroup's voicemail box will not answer from voicemail pro. It just rings forever. If I uncheck all the members in the group, the system will disconnect the call.

The group is set up as Ringing collectively and voicemail answer time 15 seconds.

Do you have any callflows set up for this mailbox in VM Pro??? Try deleting them and re createing them.

Also, try delete the account (c:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\Accounts\). Once deleted, if you restart the voicemail it should recreate it.

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

My guess is you have 4.0.5. Its a bug. get a private build or wait until the maint. release, if it ever comes.

This seems to still be an issue for me in 4.0.18 even though the June Q2 release notes seem to indicate this should have been fixed. We have an autoattendant that answers calls after hours, if the customer presses 2 it is supposed to ring a hunt group for 20 seconds. If there is no answer it is supposed to go to the hunt groups VM. However it never gets to the VM, just rings and rings.

Im having the exact same problem, it is driving me crazy! Hop Avaya will fix this very soon..

We have a site on 4.0.18 with an attendant that rings a huntgroup and after 20 secs overflows to it's mailbox and it works fine for us, we have created a call flow for that mailbox in VM Pro and it follows those actions correctly too, is running from a 500 mind, if that makes a difference I dont know!!

Nope, i dont think it does! I have both 500´s and 401´s connected up against one VM pro.

I have a call flow with an attendant that rings a hunt group, and after 65 seconds it should go to voicemail. It just does not. Call just gets disconnected.

Any ideas?

I just found a site with the same issue. Using 4.0.7. I found a little work around if needed. I create a user that is forwarded to a short code. The short code just goes to a module that has a leave mail for the group. I then put this user into another hunt group. Set as linear or rotary. Then overflow you main group to this goup. The one thing you need is the user that is forwarded needs to be on a extension port. it does not need a phone but needs a port.
