3x8 won't transfer to MB

Ive got a 3X8 DR5.1 with flash V.M. 2.0.
System will answer with CCR tree. You can transfer to extensions.
Sets ring but when it transfers to M.B. it says unavailable and returns to CCR.
If you call an int. ext. after 3 rings (fwd no answer) it says "not available" on display.
This applies to all M.B.s.
I've never run into this before.

Sounds like a have what's called a Flash Lite. It is only AA no mailboxs. Check out what the flash card says on it.

Before we added m.b.'s there was already messages left on the one m.b. that they had.

The AA wouldn't answer if it was a Flash Lite, but to verify you can login to F983 and then press 9 to see the Flash version.

The voicemail may have been disabled by accident. Login to F983, press 4 and make sure it displays Y at the voicemail prompt.

Already checked system enabled.
The prompts work ok. Transfer from CCR promps to ext.'s OK. You can leave a message in a MB F980 and transfer to MB F986.

Did you check the GD mailbox to see if it is full and preventing anymore messages from being recorded?

If that's not it I'd have to guess that it's a software corruption. Do you have another software card that you can try?

GD is empty. If nothing else I'll try reinstall and go from there.
I've never come across anything like this before.

Thank's all for your input. I reinstalled it an lifes good once again. A little more tweeking and customer is happy. So I'm happy too!
