3x8 caller ID 2

How do you programm a 3x8 for caller ID? Its a DR5.

Go into General Admin and look for Call Services. You can only assign one DN per line to auto display CLID. Lines must appear & ring at the CLID DN. All others must use F811 to see CLID before answering.

If you front the incoming call with an AA answering on 2 rings, you'll get CLID at any telephone the call transfers to.

Don't think it's avaliable on the 3x8.

It's definitely available I have a 3X8 DR5 at my house, with a Flash Mini, I installed in 1999. CLID all the time, just had to back the AA to 2 rings with all tels appear only.

I believe there is two versions of DR5, something in nagging in the back of my head that I heard there is an old DR5 it will only display on one phone and the newer one does display on all sets.

exsmogger could be right, cuz all my calls come through the Mini. They don't ring on multiple phones at the same time.

DR 5 displays one set, DR5.1 displays all sets if programmed.
