we recently upgraded from 7.0 to 9.0 and our TAPI will no longer work in 3rd party mode. it works fine in single party but as soon as we change it to 3rd party it stops functioning. our licenses show valid but it seems like it is not recognizing the CTI Pro license. I know TAPI is a nightmare and we try to stay away from it but has been functioning for years prior to the upgrade. If anyone has any ideas I would love to try them. Thanks!

I don't see TAPI as a nightmare.

Since 9.0.3 IPO doesn't accept any password in your 3rd Party TAPI configuration anymore like before.

You have to enter the IPO system password (the same you need for upgrading IPO) in the TAPI configuration.

That was the issue. Too bad the Avaya Engineer did give me that answer last week, there is no mention of it in the new TAPI Link Installation manual either. Thanks derfloh have some pink!
