This may be an easy question, but I'm not an email administrator unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it!)...
My company has some software that will connect to a pop3 or imap account, and download/parse certain emails based on content. The developers developed it with Exchange in mind, and I know Exchange has an particular syntax for usernames ("domain\winlogon\emailaccount", as a general example). We have a client using Notes 5.8, and our software will not connect to their server. I'm wondering if it is because of some odd syntax of the username that we are not accounting for.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Joe
