is there available 3rd party software for database replication

i have 12 tables contains character '/' in their table name I am getting &quot;Error 15006: <table name> is not a valid name because it contain invalid character.&quot; whenever I configure
the publication.

tables cannot be renamed because it will create a lot of problem in the system

I am using Sql 2000 standard edition under windows 2000 server

pls help !!!

You should be able to create a script to create the publication and the brackets [] to configure the publication. Tom Davis

I am having the exact same problem. I was able to add the tables to the publication using a script which just strips the &quot;/&quot; from the name and uses that for the Article name. But, the replication commands have invalid syntax because they are named with slashes (&quot;sp_MSins_/Ihateslashes&quot as well as the reference to the table name in the procedure (&quot;Insert into &quot;/Ihateslashes&quot; ....). These tables come from SAP and other apps are expecting SQL Server to use the same naming convention, so re-naming the tables is out of the question. I can customize the command names the same way I fixed the Article names, but that doesn't fix the problem with the actual procedure text. Anyone have a brilliant solution?
