3rd Party Monitoring Agents on VIO ?

My company use NetIQ monitoring agents on standard AIX clients.

I gather that installing these onto VIO partitions is unsupported, but what would that mean in real terms ? Would IBM refuse support ?

If so, what monitoring alternatives are available ?

You can do that using the oem_setup_env command from the VIO but IMHO you will be on your own if something went wrong coz of that!

I would suggest you login to the oem_setup_env and issue regualr AIX command for monitoring!
