Happy Saturday (not for some) Fellows!
can't get 3rd party softphones to register.
Created user, SIP Extension with 3rd party IP end point reserved.
When login, I can see the extension registering but not the user.
Tried Zoiper, Acrobits and both didn't work.
When I disconnect I see the IP and and extension in the Blacklist...

Any ideas/advise please?

Try removing the password against the SIP extension. Just keep it there for the user under telephony.

Depending on the URI configuration the ICR can be completely ignored.

If your URI is configured to use internal data then the IP Office will look into the user's SIP tab and if you have *'s it will look into ICR.

A madman with a taste for speed.

Found out the 'force login' needs to be unchecked on the user. All good now thank you
