I need to transfer very large database files to Visor Pro and have brought the choices down to HandDBase (which I actually paid for) and MobileDB.

I am curious to others' experiences with these two or other database software. These are essentially address files, up to 7,000 entries (which is why the visor pro - clunky but roomy) with some fileds up to 230 characters. Maybe about 30 fields each.

I am finding HandDBase excrutiatingly slow even for very small files. In the case of a larger file it took nearly an hour just to resort one of two fields on the pda.

I am currently transferring paradox files as csv, which is fairly annoying. Has anyone tried synch programs like Desktop2Mobile for OBDC bases?

I am looking forward to any thoughts or suggestions.
