Hi, has/is any using 3G data card for remote access.

Thinking of using this, didn't know too much about it all yet. My use of 3G will be to access mainly just for emails on my laptop for office network, currently i am using a dial-up modem connection.

Orange seem to have the best offers on at the moment, from what i make of it anyway.

Are there any known issues with 3G?

Would like to hear your views

Hi,

Well I have a current bad experience with the Vodafone 3G datacard and software, which has disturbed my WLAN settings rendering WLAN no longer functional on my main machine. Until I resolve it I wouldn't advise anyone to use the Vodafone offering (I know at least one other person with the same problem - it seems to be the 3.0 release of the software). If anyone else can help please let me know - if not I'll come back when /if it's resolved.
