3e24 Seagate LTO rewind issue

Hello all

We're getting multiple 3e24 FSCs on Seagate LTO1 drives in L700 library using Netbackup sw.
Is this common issue? Did anyone had similar problem ? Is there any Netbackup tuning
to solve rewind issues ?

Yes I have exactly the same issue on Seagate 06242 LTO1 tape drives, an L700 and NetBackup but only with certain tapes - batches from HP and Fuji but all manufactured identically (small flaw on the spindle). The tape vendor says it's a firmware issue, Storagetek believe it may be these specific tapes, since all other tapes are working fine with no errors. Did you ever resolve this?
