Hi,

I'm looking to make a 3D pie chart using 2 sets of data in one.

eg.

Slice Names : Company A, Company B, Company C
Slice Values: 35%, 40%, 25%
Slice Height : 100, 80, 60

The aim would be to show what percentage of the market the companies have and also what their relative profit margins are all in one graph. Any ideas? It's basically going to look like a 3D graph with the slices being different heights.

Ideas on how to do this in Excel most welcome, or even if it means downloading an add-in (provided its free!)

Thanks

I just tried this and it works. However, you are not able to set the height exactly as you want. Create three 3D pie charts. Set the chart area and borders on all of them to be none. Superimpose one chart over the other, and then set one of the slices on the top pie to none for area and border. Superimpose the third pie on top and set two of the slices to none for the area and borders. You will need to play around with labels a bit. For the height labels you can use text boxes.
