Hi, I'm very new to illustrator and am having trouble designing a 3D house. The problem is, I'm looking to start a magazine and need a 3D house as a logo and the printers have told me to use illustrator and then use the image in QuarkXpress. Now I've managed to draw a 3D house using lines and then joining them together but the end result is not high enough quality to be printed. Is there an easier way to draw it and get an amazing image quality? If anyone can help, I can send the house that I have drawn so that they get an idea of the type of thing I'm trying to do???

send it to carlo.w@mail.be

and i'will look at it.

seems ok to me.

Save it as an .eps file for quark

save it as .ai for InDesign

The quality you see on your screen has nothing to do with the printquality.

eps has always a lowres preview, when printed the original quality will be maintained. So don't worry.

Oh ok I see. Thanks very much for the advice and for taking a look.

When I save my imae as an .eps file, it saves with all lines through it..... I have no idea how to save it so this does not happen. Do you have any more advice you can give?
