3D CAD to flash converter

I program at a design & marketing company in the UK. I have had an idea after seeing one of my workmates do some 3d cgi - i thought about making a convertion program to convert autocad files into flash files ready for the web.

This includes 3D files as well, so if a 3d image was created in autocad, it will be 3d in flash aswell, so web users will be able to move the image around / zoom in and out etc..

i have little idea about CAD, let alone 3d cad, so i was wondering whether you guys thought this is a good idea, or indeed whether it's already been done.
