3D animating...

Just curious about where to find (free) info about creating an app that would use Polygons, or render 3D objects and animations, stuff like that.
Any links would be nice...
I'll be researching on my own, but just thought someone else might have some helpful hints or links.

Here's a good link to getting started with Java 3D...

That site has a decent introduction and at the bottom of the page there is a whole bunch of links that'll take anyone interested in that topic to the right places.

If anyone else has any other good links or know of any good books please, Post 'em!
