Hi,

I trying to setup a WX1200 3com switch and i'm having a few issues. We uplink the core Dell switch on VLAN 2 to port 7 - 10.150.65.0 / 24 network and VLAN 3 to port 8 172.16.10.0 / 24 network.

I can't see how to trunk the VLANs on the 3Com?

Can anyone advise as to how i can do this?

The current situation is, we can authenticate to the access point, but not communicate with any other device on the network, the user is set to use VLAN 3 and we are running tests with one Access point

Thanks in advance,
Tom

You must add the connected port to each vlan as a "tagged" port. A tagged port is the 3com version of a trunked vlan, meaning a tagged port can be in multiple vlans, as to where an untagged port can only be in a single vlan at a time.
