Hello,
I created a vlan (vlan30) on two switches a 3300 and 4200 and I configured the switches to tag the vlan30 traffic on port 24 on both switches and of course vlan 1 traffic is passed by default.
I have an Ethernet to fibre converter on port 24 on both switches and I am able to ping machines on vlan 30 (DNS Gateway and have access to the internet (ping) but I am unable to browse web pages.
When I remove the fibre converters and connect both port 24 using UTP I am able to ping and browse web pages. The converters have been configured to 100Full and I configured both port 24 to match hoping that it was the auto negotiate on the devices that was causing the problem but this has not helped.
Can anyone help?
