Hey... I guess this is a familiar scenario here, but...

I have acquired a TOTALSwitch from a store, and I don't know what the password is.

I don't have an IP for it, and it doesn't ask for a username.

The following passwords I've tried (and they don't work):
- recover
- synnet
- security
- monitor
- debug
- admin
- (blank)

... and more I can't think of.

Any ideas, besides "send it in to 3Com"?

Howdy,
I did a little googling, and it looks like, for the totalswitch, the default login info is:

Username: none Password: amber

I recently aquired a totalswitch myself, and I'm not sure what IP I should be trying to use. Do you happen to know what that should be? I can't find any documentation about it online. I hope that helps you out!

Hello

I'm having problem logging into the console port of the USR TotalSwitch.

I have my terminal program set to COM1, 9600 8/N/1 Flow:None and the emulation I have tried ANSI and VT100 as well as few other.

However, I'm only getting junk character when I connect. Am I doing something wrong.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks
