3com SS-II-1000 Switch <-> IBM 8271-524 Switch software

Hi,

Does anyone here know how to upgrade IBM 8271 Switch with 3COM SS-II 1000 software. Everything is same - hardware of IBM and 3COM ect, but IBM have blocked few really important configuration options in management.
