I have upgraded a Netware 3.12 system to increase the speed to 100 mbs. I installed a 3c905cx into the server and a 3c905c-tx into the workstation. I used 100 mbs cabling and installed a 100mbs switch.

The problem I am having is that I cannot connect at 100 mbs unless the station is on a 15 foot cable. It will not work on any cable over this length unless you slow it down to 10 mbs.

Help!!!!!

unless you're in powerstation
try different cable or check the category of the cable

Are you up to date on Novell 3.12?
What are you transmitting with IPX or TCP/IP?
Note: IPX/SPX only works at 10Mbps.
