Hi There does any know how to reset the admin password if you have forgotten it on a 3com access point 2000? i know have no way of configuring anything until i can reset the password HELP!!

In order to restore AP settings to the factory defaults, complete the following steps:
1. With the Access Point powered on
2. Insert a pointed object (pen or paper clip) into the RESET hole on the AP above the power connector.
3. Hold it for 5-15 seconds and then remove the pen or paper clip
4. The settings should be restored to the factory defaults
5. In some instances you may need to remove the Power over Ethernet cable and then reconnect for the settings to take affect.
NOTE: The default WLAN Service Area is reset back to 3Com

the 3com knowledge base contains all the information you need... my guess, is you need to link up to it directly with a direct ethernet connection to connect.
