3com 531s Software Reload

Hi everyone,

We are currently experiencing a problem with two of our 3com remote office connect 531s routers. It appears that they have lost their boot and/or main code and we can't seem to be able to reload it using either the flash upgrade software from 3com, or by using the donate from another unit method posted in 3com's knowledge base (we tried it when we only had one not working, now we have two...).

Any suggestions as to another method of reloading the bootcode and maincode? We don't want to try the donate method again in case we end up with three dead units...

What the routers do at all now?
Does the console shows any information?
Did you try the reset method to load the code again?
Did the donator die instead of the donated router?
Did you try to donate the way shown in 3COMs knowledgebase (Solution-ID: 122.0.1123709.1720327)?
