3com 4500 vlan

I set up vlan 2 on switch 1. gave it an address of 192.168.0.2/255.255.255.0 I added port 26 untagged.
I changed port 48 to hybred.
I added port 48 to vlan 2 tagged.
On switch 2 set up vlan 2 . Gave it an address of 192.168.0.3/255.255.255.0. Added port 26 untagged.
Changed port 49 to hybred.
I added port 49 to vlan 2 tagged..
I still cannont get traffic across the switches.

switches tied together port 48 switch 1 - 49 switch 2

rest of network on 10.0.0.0/255.255.252.0
switch 1 is 10.0.0.11
switch 2 is 10.0.0.20
Any help appreciated..



 
Are any of your ports setup as TRUNK ports that are connecting the two switches.
