Hey All:
I have three 4400's. I want to purchase another 4400 and want to stack it with the existing three. Each 4400 has two module ports. Below is my current setup
Switch One: Stacking Card
Switch Two: Cascade Unit
Switch Three: Stacking card
I imagine when i purchase switch four, i would need to purchase another cascade unit and stacking card ?
Below is what i'm assuming would work...
Switch one: Stacking Card
Switch Two: Cascade Unit
Switch Three: Cascade unit ?
Switch Four : Stacking Card ?
This, i presume, would still allow me to keep the second module's free. To perform the following....
Switch One: Gbic module Connecting to Switch Two's Gbic module
Switch Three: Gbic module Connecting to Switch Four's Gbic module
Then from switch four connect to my 4924 using Cat 6 ? To complete the GIG chain
Thanks,
HS
